Prof. Alain Cribier, MD, has been Chief of Cardiology at the University Hospital Charles Nicolle of Rouen, France for 20 years. In 2011, Cribier was made Professor Emeritus at the Department of Cardiology at this university. Prof. Cribier has received many prestigious scientific distinctions and awards in France, Europe, the United States, South America, Israel and Asia for his pioneering work and, in 2012, the most recognized French national distinction, the Legion of Honor. He has published more than 600 indexed articles in the field of interventional cardiology, PCI, valvular disease, and innovative technologies.

Amyloidosis

Thibaud Damy MD

He created the “Mondor Amyloidosis Network”, which involves all clinical facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of amyloidosis, as well as a clinical research team. It quickly grew into a major multidisciplinary network involving more than 40 health professionals. Since 2010, more than 2,800 patients have been referred to the center for suspected cardiac amyloidosis. Professor Damy and his team created a comprehensive educational program to improve the knowledge and quality of life of patients: Amylo Patient Education Program (Amylo-PEP). In 2017, Mondor Amyloidosis Network was named a Cardiogen FrenNetwork Reference Center for Cardiac Amyloidosis.

Pablo Garcia-Pavia MD
